Concord, NH -- Duncraft announces the appointment of Sharon Dunn as President. The Duncraft Catalog is the premier direct marketer for backyard birdfeeding, and the company's Duncraft-brand birdfeeders are available at specialty retailers nationwide. Ms. Dunn, a co-owner, has served most recently as executive vice president. Her brother and co-owner Michael M. Dunn is CEO. Duncraft, located in Concord, NH, was founded in 1952 by their father.

Dunn, a graduate of Tufts University, attended Boston University's School of Management. Simultaneous with her employment at Duncraft, for ten years she was independent editor-publisher of the literary magazine Agni, now published at Boston University. She served for eleven years on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Foundation for Children, creator of The Responsive Classroom, an elementary school management approach; she helped establish its publishing house and national newsletter for teachers. At Duncraft her previous roles include Director of Marketing, and her focus has been on development of the Duncraft brand, in products and service.
