Planning for the Future
The Board reviewed goals and priorities for the upcoming membership year, including:

Exploring Industry Impacts of Artificial Intelligence
After the hybrid meeting, a small group of industry leaders discussed strategy for the future of WBFI, including use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that is rapidly influencing business operations, consumer behavior, and data driven ‑decision-making. The Board explored opportunities for WBFI to help members leverage‑ AI responsibly while also considering guidelines and education to support member adoption.
Site Visits for the 2027 Annual Meeting
While in Palm Springs, Event Planning Committee members completed site visits to evaluate potential venues and local amenities for the 2027 WBFI Annual Meeting. Several location options were reviewed with the intent to select a setting that supports productive sessions, strong member networking, and a memorable overall experience.
